I had no idea what this meant. This dvd will not play on numerous dvd players we have and I will jot get a refund. This came from Germany and now I am stuck with a dvd that doesn't allow me to watch it.
The seller said i can buy a region 2 dvd player on Amazon. I do not wish to do that and spend that money.. I just wanted my refund.

And he was right! I already like Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence's type of humour so it had good start, but some of the funniest lines were from William H Macy.
Overall it is a switch off brain, sit down and just enjoy the humour type of film. A bunch of middle aged guys trying to relive their youth and making a complete hash of it.
As hard as they try, marriage, parenthood and age have all made their marks on their approach to life and it is portrayed brilliantly by these guys.
The addition of a gay motorbike cop and the confusion caused when he finds them all sleeping on an inflatable mattress is again just brilliant.
Ray Liotta's portrayal as the head of the real biker gang is really funny and his lines are very slick. What out for the" what's up with Cochise?

And then you fail to hear about a film because may be you are not in the right place at the right time and they get past you as it were.
For me, this film is in the latter league and what enjoyment there is to be had watching these four actors act out the best mid life crisis.
I had one and bought a cc bike so I can appreciate that. I love this film, every second of it. I think they may all be all four, but they do not have a patch on the Highway Patrol Officer in this film [check him out to see what I mean].
Why do I think back to Wagons East? And if you wanna see Ray Liotta cry, well here is your film. The ending as the credits roll is inspired!
As the original Easy Rider says, ride hard, or go home. As evidenced by the number of times these bikers fell off without seriously damaging themselves or their bikes, this DVD is a lightweight feel-good movie.
Nevertheless, it is surprisingly perceptive - as a middle-aged biker, there were many times when I recognised myself and my friends in the story.
The DVD helpfully includes access to deleted scenes, which often link to and make sense of comments made in the movie, that otherwise pass unnoticed.
It's worth watching two or three times, in order to pick up all the subtleties and humour, but I doubt many people would want to watch it more than that.
I'd recommend it for a relaxing evening, and visually there's nothing unsuitable for children, although the same can't be said for some of the language.
I don't think this film gets the credit it deserves!! It's such a feel good family film, talking of family I love to watch this over my parents as you can guarantee there will be atleast 3 parts in which my mum will literally snort with laughter!!!

When the homophobic jokes started, my sense of humor vanished with them, finding few laughs after that.
The jokes that aren't rooted in homophobia are stereotypes - lazy writing. The ending, including the credits scene, involved eye-rolling levels of "did someone actually think this would work?
One person found this helpful. Purchased a DVD and it will not play due to some code on the disc I never heard of. How in the world can someone know if it doesn't work if they don't open it?????
I am sending it back and hoping to receive a refund. Comedy is the hardest genre, because people laugh only when they are in the mood to laugh.
Good comedies start up with icebreakers that groom their audience into the proper mood. While this part is virtually missing from the beginning, replaced by situational info, my problem with this show is a lot more simple.
For me, the humor is stale and repetitive; you can encounter the same pun several times in this movie, even though the gag is old to begin with.
I would say, this is frat-house humor with elements of slapstick. Better than stoner, which is why I am giving it two, instead of one star.
Sorry, I can't stand stoner humor, but that is only a matter of preference, so I am bringing it up only in order to provide a basis for comparison.
Still, on a tired night, you can enjoy this movie, assuming you keep your expectations low or you are in a company of people who haven't seen this type of humor over and over.
The good new is that if you care for stoner, chances are you will love this! We liked this movie when we'd seen pieces of it on TV. Another return!
