Got to say 10 out of 10 to them for that. So many bands have a couple of decent tunes to their name and tend to live off past glories.
No chance of that here. Older tracks sit well with the most recent making this one very enjoyable concert to watch. Stage lighting and pyrotechnics aplenty would you expect anything else?
I would pay to see Rammstein without all this, so when it comes to great music with great visuals, perhaps only Iron Maiden's stage set can get near them.

It's Rammstein live in Paris. No great shocks here, I had no doubts that this would be a superb quality release. All beautifully packaged in the 12" box which just has quality written all over it.
Many reviews here castigate the editing so it took me some time to decide to buy this. I prefer camera work to be long, slow, smooth pans so you can see what the band members are doing and how they interact.
Lives in Nimes is good like that. And it would have been good to have that here especially when the band take to a small stage in the middle of the crowd to play intimately together.
Once you understand this it becomes a much better DVD. Just keep the oven door open for the full effect. One mild criticism.
The sound is actually very good and quite raw in places so you can hear what the guitars are actually doing to a greater extent than usual.

As a long-time fan of Rammstein [and an American fan], this is the only way I can get to see the band live as they tour in the US once in a blue moon.
After a months long wait and seeing the teasers on YouTube, I was quite eager to see what this concert film would be, especially as it was directed by Jonas Ackerlund, who has done videos not only for Rammstein but for Lady Gaga and Madonna.
Some people may not like the quick editing, extra FX and the mix, but I do. I'm pleased with this movie. It's one of the best I've seen in several years, and it was worth the wait.
As a longtime Rammstein fan wow, over 20 years now! Rammstein has a great stage presence, but you never get to see it with this set.
I recommend purchasing for the songlist and audio quality only. I looooove rammstein and they have absolutely incredible shows but the director absolutely butchered the editing of this performance.
A lot of times you miss out on the pyrotechnics because the idiot decided to jump between 35 cameras in. If you're expecting to see a great show with incredible fireworks like the last two blurays you'll be let down.

Man, was I wrong.. Maybe I'm getting old, but I had to stop watching. Flashing lights and different camera angles constantly. I don't think there is one shot that lasts more than 10 seconds.
When it comes to live shows stick with Volkerball concert. Which unfortunately does not include their newer stuff. It just perplexes me that a director with so much experience could do such a poor hack job in editing.
I actually like the special effects and HD cameras, but the constant edit cuts make this too tough to recommend.
Honeslty Rammstein is interesting enough they dont need these types of edits. I'm sure the show was amazing to experience live, when you could actually see what was happening.
